It’s true! There’s an easy and cool way to shoot rubber bands that I learned sometime long long ago from an amazing person (who this person is, exactly, I don’t remember, but I know the person to show me such a nifty skill must be amazing).

And now, at last, I am sharing the secret with you. It’s a good summer activity. And rubber bands aren’t too expensive, either, so that’s yet one more thing going for this quick trick. Oh, yeah. I know how to have a good time.

Conversing across cultures is increasingly important in a globalized world, and this short guide to speaking whale is but a small step in efforts to communicate in ways that both acknowledge and appreciate differences. Yes, Dory would be proud.

If you hesitate before initiating a toast because you don’t know what to say or you’re worried you’ll end up slamming your drink into another person’s beer and having unfortunate spillage issues, well, here is the advice you’ve been waiting for. Lisa P. makes people smile on an everyday basis in all kinds of ways, but here she took initiative to offer one of the fail-proof means that others can easily adopt. It may even be a sick fetish in the case of one or two viewers, but I’m going to pretend that’s not the case–it’s just a bit too weird-icky to think about. Anyhow, after receiving several requests for more bubble-blowing videos and becoming slightly addicted to bubble gum since my first bubble-blowing how-to clip, I bring to you a small bubble-blowing trick. So get out your Hubba-Bubba and have some double-bubble blowing fun!

Here’s a tip my hairdresser (Laura at Pizazz Salon) taught me, and it seems worth sharing with the world. If you want to be a swimming fool but are avoiding the pool with the fear of green hair, this video is for you.

PS It’s not Laura’s fault that my hair looks lame at the start of this video. The kids and I were playing soccer, so I was victimized by major sweat and humidity, and I think I had been all about the ponytail right before filming. But I try to avoid too much vanity in my vlog posts or I’d never actually post anything. I’m sure you don’t usually notice. Ha!
